"It's times like these when we remember why we are here on earth" ~ Noah Bowman
Noah graduated with a BFA in visual arts at Emily Carr University of Art & Design in 2006. In 2011, his style of painting had developed into a form of gestural abstraction or fabstract (figurative abstract).
His paintings are conceptualized through the logic of sensation, "in an order that moves from the simplest to the most complex" and in sense of color and forms, there are emotions/motions of the viscera that are perceived, through the act of painting.
Noah's pieces are owned by collectors worldwide and most notably: Canada (Vancouver/Toronto), USA (LA/Utah), England (Bristol), China & South Africa.
Followers have referenced the likes of Willem DeKooning, Francis Bacon and Jack Shadbolt in his use of bold color and forms. Notable inspirations include Dada, Surrealism, Cubism and Expressionism art movements.
